Scope and Accounts

These Terms govern your use of the ThumbTranslator website and thumbnail translation service. You must create and sign in to an account to use the translator. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account.

Your Images and Permission to Process Them

You retain your rights in the source images you upload and the results generated for you. You confirm that you own each uploaded image or have all permissions needed to upload, process, translate, and use it.

You give ThumbTranslator a limited permission to store, copy, and process an uploaded image, send it to one or more configured AI processing providers for translation, receive the generated result, store that result, and make it available to your account. Depending on route availability and fallback needs, those providers may include API Mart, fal.ai, or OpenAI. This permission is only for operating and supporting the translation service. It does not transfer ownership of your image to us.

Credits, Purchases, and Failed Jobs

One credit covers one source image translated into one target language. A verified account may receive a one-time free experience credit. This grant does not refresh daily.

Creator and Studio are monthly subscriptions charged in U.S. dollars through Stripe. Creator adds 120 credits and Studio adds 360 credits after Stripe confirms each paid monthly invoice. There is no free trial or annual billing option. A failed payment adds no new credits and does not remove credits already in your balance.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can use the Stripe customer portal from your billing settings to manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Plan changes take effect at the next billing period and are not prorated. Canceling or changing a plan does not remove credits already added to your account.

One-time top-ups remain available for 130 or 360 credits. Top-ups do not renew automatically. Unused subscription and top-up credits do not expire. The pricing page shows the price and number of credits before checkout. Stripe may collect payment details and display applicable taxes or other checkout information under its own terms and policies.

The credit cost of a translation is shown before you start it. By starting a translation, you authorize ThumbTranslator to deduct the displayed credits from your balance.

If a translation job reaches a terminal failed state, the credits charged for that job are returned to your balance. If a subscription invoice or top-up payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed, unused credits granted by that payment may be removed. If the account no longer has enough credits to complete that reversal, we may pause further credit use while the payment and balance are reviewed. Credits are not transferable and do not have cash value unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be limited.

AI-Generated Results

Translation results are generated with AI and may contain mistranslations, missing text, altered details, layout problems, or other visual errors. You are responsible for reviewing a result before publishing, selling, or otherwise relying on it. ThumbTranslator does not guarantee that a result is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular use.

Private Access and Deletion Requests

Source images and results are stored as private files. Access to them is limited to the signed-in account that owns them, subject to service administration, security, legal requirements, and the service providers needed to perform the translation.

You can contact us to request deletion of a result or other account data. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records where reasonably needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve credit issues, or comply with law. Our Privacy Policy provides more detail.

Acceptable Use

You may use ThumbTranslator only for lawful purposes. You must not:

upload or process images that you do not have permission to use;
infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful material;
upload malware or attempt to bypass security, access controls, credit rules, or usage limits;
probe or access systems, data, files, or accounts without authorization; or
use automated requests or other activity that places an unreasonable load on the service.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect ThumbTranslator or its users, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

Service Content and Providers

The ThumbTranslator name, website design, text, graphics, and software we provide are owned by us or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you.

The service relies on third-party providers, including Cloudflare for hosting, private Cloudflare R2 file storage, and Cloudflare D1 records, plus configured AI processing providers that may include API Mart, fal.ai, and OpenAI. Their services may affect availability and are also governed by their own terms and policies.

Availability and Disclaimers

ThumbTranslator is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, security, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ThumbTranslator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service or a generated result. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
